Sixteen castaways were marooned in Borneo and split into two tribes – Tagi and Pagong. At the Pagong camp, the oldest castaway – BB – was targeted as a weak link in the tribe. BB created an alliance with Greg, but the other castaways soon got wind of their alliance and they were left as the tribe outcasts.
Over at Tagi, Sue and Kelly formed an alliance on Day 1 because they are both bitches and best friends. Sonja, Sean and Stacey formed a different alliance, while Richard, Rudy and Dirk agreed to work together. Much tension formed on the tribe, as Kelly attacked Richard when Richard burnt the rice they were eating on Night 1. Sue defended Kelly in the big fight, but Richard fought back even though everyone knew he was in the wrong.
At the combined Reward and Immunity Challenge, Tagi put their differences aside to defeat the Pagong tribe in a blowout at a challenge that involved lighting torches. The cracks in the Tagi tribe were put aside for the day, while the Pagong tribe focused on the first Tribal Council.
BB and Greg plotted to convince various members of their tribe to jump in on the alliance. After pretending to agree on the plan, Gervase, Colleen, Gretchen, Joel, Ramona and Jenna all met up and agreed that BB was weakest and that Greg was his partner in crime. The six agreed to work together and planned to take the weakest out first.
At Tribal Council, BB and Greg voted for Gervase, but were blindsided when nobody else in the tribe joined them and BB was sent packing in a 6-2 vote, leaving Greg alone by himself in a tribe of seven.
